Press and Media
Press and Media
Everything a journalist or researcher is likely to need, in one place: who this company legally is, who reviews the clinical content, what our published research measured, and what you may reuse.
The company, verifiable
Weight Loss Forever Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 12051016, incorporated 14 June 2019, registered office 8 Benton Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE7 7DR. The SIC code is 86900, other human health activities. All of that is checkable on the Companies House register, and the link is in the footer of every page.
We would rather you verified it than took our word for it. A medical provider that cannot be identified on a public register is the thing readers should be warned about, and the check takes a minute.
Clinical governance
Clinical content is reviewed by named, GPhC-registered prescribers, and each page carries the reviewer and the date the review happened. The reviewers are listed on the clinical team page with their registration numbers, and every byline links to the GPhC register so the registration can be confirmed independently.
Our editorial policy sets out how sources are chosen, which we hold to: product information approved by the regulator, published trial data, and national clinical guidance. Where evidence is absent or contested, the pages say so rather than resolving it in our favour.
Published research
We publish an original price-transparency study covering six markets. It records what weight-management providers display before any clinical assessment has taken place, which is the point at which advertising rules apply and the point at which most comparison happens.
The method, the sample and the date of collection are published with the results, so the study can be checked or repeated. If you want the underlying figures in a usable form for a piece you are writing, ask and we will send them.
Findings we can comment on
Oral products sold as GLP-1. Roughly ten thousand searches a month in Germany alone go to capsules, drops, patches and ampoules sold as "GLP-1". None of them contains a GLP-1 receptor agonist; they are food supplements, and the search demand suggests many buyers do not know that.
Pen labelling and dose confusion. The carton of the pen used for 1 mg doses of one common treatment is marked 4 mg, because that is the total in the cartridge rather than the dose injected. Search data shows people looking up that number as though it were a dose.
Dose conversion between medicines. Charts circulate claiming to convert a Wegovy dose to a Mounjaro one. There is no validated equivalence, and the figures are not comparable: 2.4 mg is a maximum dose of one and 2.5 mg is the starting dose of the other.
Assets you may reuse
The dose-schedule diagrams on the treatment pages are our own work, drawn from the approved product information rather than licensed from a stock library. You may reproduce them with attribution and a link to the page they came from. They exist in all six published languages.
Please do not reuse them altered, and do not present them as clinical advice independent of the page they sit on. If you need a different format or a higher resolution, ask.
Contact
Write to contact@weightlossforevercare.com with "press" in the subject line and we will route it. Tell us your deadline — we would rather decline quickly than miss it.
We will talk about the condition, the medicines and the evidence. We will not supply patient case studies, and we cannot promote a prescription-only medicine to the public, which is a legal restriction rather than a reluctance to speak.
